Vietnam adds 41 border gates allowing international travelers to enter and exit with an e-visa
The government has just issued Resolution No. 389/NQ-CP dated December 2, 2025, on adding to the list of international border gates allowing foreigners to enter and exit the country using electronic visas. The resolution takes effect from the date of issuance.
Accordingly, the Government adds 41 border gates to the list of international border gates allowing foreigners to enter and exit the country using electronic visas as mentioned in Article 2 of Resolution No. 127/NQ-CP dated August 14, 2023, of the Government on the application of electronic visa issuance for citizens of countries and territories, specifically as follows:
I. List of Air Border Gates
1. Long Thanh International Airport Border Gate (applicable when put into operation);
2. Gia Binh International Airport Border Gate (applicable when put into operation);
3. Vinh International Airport Border Gate;
4. Chu Lai International Airport Border Gate.
II. List of land border gates
1. Dong Dang International Border Gate (railway), Lang Son Province;
2. Lao Cai International Border Gate (railway), Lao Cai Province;
3. Tra Linh International Border Gate, Cao Bang Province;
4. Long Sap International Border Gate, Son La Province;
5. Nam Giang International Border Gate, Da Nang City;
6. Le Thanh International Border Gate, Gia Lai Province;
7. Binh Hiep International Border Gate, Tay Ninh Province;
8. Thuong Phuoc International Border Gate (road/river), Dong Thap Province;
9. Dinh Ba International Border Gate, Dong Thap Province;
10. Tan Nam International Border Gate, Tay Ninh Province;
11. Thanh Thuy International Border Gate, Tuyen Quang Province.
III. List of seaport border gates
1. Van Gia Port Border Gate, Quang Ninh Province;
2. Diem Dien Port Border Gate, Hung Yen Province;
3. Hai Thinh Port Border Gate, Ninh Binh Province;
4. Ninh Binh Port Border Gate, Ninh Binh Province;
5. Cua Lo – Ben Thuy Port Border Gate, Nghe An Province;
6. Son Duong Port Border Gate, Ha Tinh Province;
7. Ganh Port Border Gate, Quang Tri Province;
8. Hon La Port Border Gate, Quang Tri Province;
9. Cua Viet Port Border Gate, Quang Tri Province;
10. Thuan An Port Border Gate, Hue City;
11. Ky Ha Port Border Gate, Da Nang City;

Previously, according to Resolution No. 127/NQ-CP dated August 14, 2023, there were 42 international border gates allowing foreigners to enter and exit with an electronic visa (e-visa). With the addition of 41 new border gates, the total number of gates applying the electronic visa has increased to 83, greatly facilitating international visitors coming to our country. Vietnam has implemented the e-visa policy for citizens of all countries and territories since August 15, 2023, allowing a stay of up to 90 days and multiple entries and exits, demonstrating flexibility and openness in the visa policy.
