Russian Companies hopes to collaborate in promoting tourism in Vietnam in Russia and the CIS countries.
On the afternoon of September 15, in Hanoi, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration Ha Van Sieu had an online working session with representatives of Russian companies LLC regarding a proposal to cooperate in making Vietnam a priority travel destination in Russia and the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States).
Attending the working session, from the Vietnam National Tourism Administration there were representatives from the Department of International Relations and Tourism Promotion, and the Tourism Information Center. From Russian companies, Yango, there was Ms. Lillia Fattahova – Business Team Leader; Ms. Daria Utkina – Public Policy Monitoring Officer, government agency, and market management specialists for Asia.
Thank you to Deputy Director Ha Van Sieu for taking the time to attend the meeting. Ms. Daria Utkina – Public Policy Monitoring Officer from the government agency stated that Yango is a multinational technology company from Russia, operating in more than 30 countries, providing a variety of products, including search engines, ride-hailing platforms, and taxi booking services, utilizing cloud computing technology as well as solutions based on artificial intelligence. Additionally, the company operates a global advertising network with extensive experience in digital and offline campaigns. Yango’s services currently reach more than 150 million active users worldwide each month. Yango hopes to support and promote Vietnam’s tourism to become one of the top destinations in the regions where the company operates, contributing to enhancing the international reputation of Vietnamese tourism, highlighting the rich cultural heritage, beautiful natural landscapes, and hospitality, in alignment with Vietnam’s tourism development strategy.

The Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, Ha Van Sieu, highly appreciated the cooperation proposal from Yango and affirmed that the Vietnam National Tourism Administration is ready to cooperate to promote mutual tourism between Vietnam and the Russian Federation. Deputy Director Ha Van Sieu emphasized that for many years, the number of Vietnamese tourists to Russia as well as Russian tourists to Vietnam has remained stable and is increasingly growing, indicating a great potential for cooperation not only with Russia but also with other Russian-speaking markets.

Deputy Director Ha Van Sieu affirmed that the Vietnam National Tourism Administration is ready to support Yango in organizing conferences and seminars to introduce to Vietnamese tourism enterprises, while also calling on businesses from both sides to enhance connectivity and expand cooperation. Vietnam possesses many attractive destinations that attract Russian tourists, such as Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc. The Deputy Director requested that Yango Company promptly send detailed information about promotional solutions to study and implement together. At the same time, the Deputy Director assigned the Department of International Relations and Tourism Promotion to be the focal point, cooperating with Yango to develop specific cooperation proposals in the near future.
