The 2025 Hanoi Souvenir and Gift Exhibition is an important trade promotion event in the series of activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day on September 2, organized by the People’s Committee of Hanoi. The event is presided over by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, with the Hanoi Center for Industrial Encouragement and Development Consulting, aiming to trade in handicraft souvenir products of the Hanoi. It aims to attract visitors to engage with the exhibiting units and introduce products. At the same time, it serves both domestic and international tourists coming to the capital (Hanoi) to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025).
The fair takes place with a scale of 100 standard stalls and specially designed stalls divided into various sub-areas: an exhibition space for OCOP products; a display area for typical handicrafts; a section for artisans to showcase traditional crafts; an interactive experience area for visitors; along with cultural and artistic spaces deeply imbued with the essence of Hanoi. The fair gathers many famous traditional craft products such as Bat Trang ceramics, Van Phuc silk, Phu Vinh bamboo and rattan weaving, traditional ao dai tailoring from Trach Xa, Chuyen My mother-of-pearl inlay, and Quat Dong embroidery… Most of the traditional craft products showcase a strong imprint of Vietnamese cultural identity, being both exquisite in aesthetics and sustainable in utility; many products have been exported to demanding markets such as Japan, Europe, and the USA.
