Vietnam ranks in the top 4 countries with the most attractive cuisine in the world in 2025
Following the series of Readers’ Choice Awards by the international travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller, Vietnam continues to be named in 4th place in the ranking of the 15 countries with the most attractive cuisines in the world.
The most attractive culinary destinations category, voted by readers of Condé Nast Traveller magazine, is based on places that truly captivate their taste buds. The results show that the countries honored all received impressive scores, which is a testament to the strong appeal of global cuisine—where each country celebrates flavors and culinary creativity in its own unique way.

Standing in 4th place on the ranking with a score of 96.67, Vietnamese cuisine is praised and highly appreciated by the international community for its fresh, abundant, and diverse ingredients. In particular, rice – a symbol of the lush agricultural sector – is present in countless familiar dishes: steaming bowls of rice, soft and smooth noodles and pho, chewy rice paper rolls… all harmoniously combined with vegetables, fresh meat, and distinctive spices, creating dishes that are both exquisite and delicious.
Any traveler coming to Vietnam will fall in love with everything from street vendors, floating markets in the Mekong Delta, to small eateries in alleyways or luxurious restaurants in the heart of the city. Vietnamese cuisine always offers visitors an authentic and complete experience — where each dish tells its own story about the country, culture, and people.
Besides Vietnam, among the top 15 destinations with the most attractive cuisine in the world according to Condé Nast Traveller are: Thailand, Italy, Japan, Spain, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Greece, South Africa, Peru, the Maldives, Colombia, Morocco, France, and Turkey.
