Condé Nast Traveler named Sa Pa in the ranking of the most beautiful towns on the planet
Recently, Sa Pa (Lao Cai province) was honored in the list of the 53 most beautiful towns in the world by the international travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler.
In this list, Sa Pa is honored as a typical destination, making a strong impression with its natural beauty and unique cultural space. Nestled in the Northwest mountains, this place is described as a relatively quiet mountain town, separated from the bustling urban life. The highlight of Sa Pa is its magnificent natural scenery with rolling mountain ranges, extensive terraced fields, massive waterfalls, and beautiful trekking routes, offering visitors the opportunity to fully explore nature.

Sa Pa is a clear testament to the charm of small towns with a slow pace of life and peaceful spaces, where visitors can slow down to enjoy nature, culture, local life, and gain a deeper appreciation of the destination. This is also the core value that the modern travel trend is aiming for.

Besides Sa Pa, other charming towns also appear on Condé Nast Traveller’s list such as: Rovinj (Croatia); Kinsale (Ireland); Varenna (Italy); Perast (Montenegro); Chefchaouen (Morocco); Albarracín (Spain); Ban Rak Thai (Thailand); Baños (Ecuador); Bar Harbor (USA); Biei (Japan); Bled (Slovenia); Bocas del Toro (Panama); Colonia del Sacramento (Uruguay); Castle Combe (England); Esperance (Australia)…
