Opening of the Vietnam Culture and Tourism Festival in South Korea
On August 24, 2025, the Vietnam Culture and Tourism Festival in South Korea officially opened in Gyeongsangbuk-do province, with the attendance of senior leaders from both countries, representatives of local authorities, and a large Vietnamese community in South Korea.

The opening ceremony was held at the Chunghyodang heritage site in Bongseong, which preserves many documents related to the Ly family in Korea. The combination of the heritage space with new planning has created a unique cultural and tourism highlight for Gyeongsangbuk-do province.

Held annually, the Vietnam Culture and Tourism Festival in South Korea increasingly asserts its role as a cultural bridge, bringing the image of the country and its people closer to international friends, while also contributing to the realization of the strategic cooperation commitment in the field of culture and tourism between the two countries.
